Here's a brief explanation on how the Affiliate Program works:

How do I make commissions on sales?

It's simple... You refer your potential customers to the product you are promoting with your special affiliate link (more on the shortly). When you do, if the person buys, you make the commission for the sale. The great thing about this is that:

(1) Your commission is paid instantly to you.

(2) I get the chance to add the customer to my mailing list so I can market to them in the future

(3) If your customer buys the OTO , you will make a commission on that sale also, paid instantly.

(4) The customer gets a great product at a great price.

PayPal doesnt allow split commissions so how does your system work?

Maybe using the word 'commission is not excatly correct. More precisely the sales on the product and OTO rotate, so that the full amount that the customer pays for either the product or the OTO is Paid in full to the appropriate account

(1) On the front-end product, if it sells for $17 and the commission is set at 50%, then the first sale comes to me and the second sale goes to you. You would get the full $17 (minus the PayPal fees) paid directly to your account.

(2) The OTO sales work exactly the same.

How does the 'one time offer' (OTO) work?

After your customer purchases the main product they will see another great offer before reaching the download page. This will generally be a related product offered at an attractive discount but your customer will only see it once.

What do I need to join?

You will need to sign up for a PayPal account. Don't worry, it doesn't cost you anything. Then sign up as an affiliate and start promoting at will. One thing to remember...

NO SPAMMING

If you spam to promote anything from this site, you will be banned permanently. Also, they may be other legal remedies undertaken for problems that may arise. Just don't do it.

What sort of a Paypal account do I need?

This is IMPORTANT information about getting paid:

In order for our system to work flawlessly with your PayPal account, please check that you have either a verified Business Account or a verified Premier Account. (Personal Paypal accounts are limited in the amount of funds and types of payments they can receive.)

If you already have a personal account, you can upgrade and verify your account at no cost. Login to w PayPal and follow the upgrade links in your Profile.

Am I added to a mailing list?

Yes. This is so you can be notified when a new product is released. You can unsubscribe at anytime, but then you won't know whan a new product is available to promote. You will still be registered as an affiliate. Occasionally, I will send out emails for related products or services that may be of a benefit to you.

How often are new products released?

I would like to be able to add at least 1 new product per week so you will have fresh products to promote. A lot will depend on how good the products are. I only want to add products I think will sell well. That way you will make sales.

What is the cost and obligation for joining?

No cost. No obligation. You can earn commissions without ever purchasing from us.

What happens after I sign up?

After you sign up as a Automated Checkout affiliate, YOU CAN PROMOTE ALL OUR PRODUCTS without having to register for each one individually.

Why should I register as an affiliate?

After you register into our system, cookies will connect your unique affiliate ID with all the visitors you send to all the products at our site, even if the visitors come back later on to purchase.

Your affiliate ID allows you to promote without running the risk of exposing your email address in your affiliate links.

Here's how that works: When you sign up as an affiliate, you get to choose an affiliate nickname (affiliate ID). Instead of adding your email address at the end of your affiliate links, you can promote using your affiliate ID in the links.

I forgot my affiliate nickname

No problem. Go to the Affiliate Tools page and the system will remind you. Your affiliate nickname (ID) is the name you chose when you signed up.

What link format should I use to promote a particular product?

When you sign up, you will be asked for your information, including your PayPal email address (so you can get your commissions paid to you) and you will be asked to choose an affiliate nickname, which will be your unique affiliate ID. Once you have registered, then you will use your Affiliate ID to promote the product(s).

How this works

Each product is set up in a folder with a unique product name. That name will be unique to that product for sales purposes. The sales page link will be something like this:

http://automatedcheckout.com/product/index.php

Now, to promote that product, you would send your prospects to to the sales page using this link format:

http://automatedcheckout.com/product/?e=affiliatenickname

You can also encrypt either of these links by other methods if you wish for tracking purposes, but be sure to test them to be sure your ID is retained, of course.

The great thing about this, is that you can promote any of the products with the same affiliate ID and you will get credit for any sales that are made.

How can I test my affiliate links?

1) Copy the whole link into your browser address bar and hit Enter.

2) Scroll down to the Buy button and click it.

3) When the payment page comes up at Paypal.com, your name or email will be showing up at the top left of the screen. That shows you it's working. If not, check that you've followed these steps correctly.

PLEASE NOTE: I don't allow affiliates to buy from themselves. If this happens, you will be banned from the program. Also, the way the system works, the first sale will always comes to me. This is to help discourage affiliates from buying from themselves.

Can I cloak my affiliate links?

Sure can. You can use any cloaking service. URLfreeze.com is one that I like because it provides stats on your clickthroughs - and it's free.

What about refunds?

Now this is important, so please read very closely.

Offering a refund is a proven way to increase sales. That's why we all do it. So you will occasionally get a request for a refund. It's a pain when that happens, but it's the way things go so you should expect it.

If you make a sale and the customer wants a refund, then you are responsible for taking care of this. Thier PayPal reciept will show that the money has been paid to you and you will be the one they will initially contact.

If for some reason they can't get this taken care of from you, the affiliate, then they may end up contacting me. If they do, I will honor their request, but will be forced to ban you from the program.

Being willing to refund is part of what affiliates agree to when they register so if an affiliate refuses to provide a refund on request, our software will direct all future sales through that affiliate ID to me. This is necessary to protect the integrity of our program, and prevent having unhappy customers.

TIP: the best way to do things is to leave sufficient money in your Paypal account to cover refunds - this will allow the refund request to be taken care of in a timely manner.

How to handle refunds:

If/when one of your customers asks for a refund, you can also get a refund of the Paypal FEES you paid if you login to Paypal, find the item they're asking a refund for, click on the Transaction Details link and then scroll to the very bottom of the page. There is a link marked 'Issue Refund'. By using it, you will get a refund on the fees you paid Paypal for receiving that money.
